LOCAL RULES

(1) FREE RELIEF

1.1 All staked trees and shrubs. all trees and shrubs under 2 club lengths in height

1.2 All cracks through the green

1.3 All internal paths and roadways

1.4 All embedded stones

(2) OOB

All ground beyond boundry fences including main carpark area is out of bounds

(3) IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS

All sprinkler heads, tee markers, vehicles, water control boxes and safety fences

rule 24-2(b) applies

Temporary local rules may overide local rules and should be checked before starting your round

temporary local rules are displayed in club rooms

RULES OF COMPETITION

Members below refer to male, female or juniors, and these must be fully fiancial as per the W.P.G.C fee schedule, Captain refers to captain or nominated deputy for day.

Members must book their place in the weekly field via the pre dated booking sheets provided in the club house, or via the pro shop (93082774) by the thursday preceding the days competition 

Failure to book a place in the field shall place the members position in the field as a low priority, and may miss out on a position in the field if all booked places are filled.

Members must enter their name in competition book no later than15 minutes prior to clubs booked tee time 

If any members name is not entered in competition book by stipulated time, they will not be eligible for the days competition.

No member will be allowed to start their round before the stipulated tee time, without the captains direction or prior consent.

A dated authorised score card listing the members Name and Handicapp shall be placed in the immediate proximity of the competition book or in a place designated by the captain for the days competition.

Weekly competition fees shall be placed in an envelope with competitors name on it and placed in the box provided.

Failure to lodge an entry fee prior to tee of shall deem the player ineligable for days trophys.

The Captain shall manage the competition of the day in all ways.

GENERAL GUIDELINES OF COMPETITION

Group 1 shall consist of those 2 members first entered in the competition book along with two randomly selected cards

Group 2 shall consist of the next 2 listed members along with one or two randomly selected card

All following groups shall follow guidelines as discribed for group 2

Committee members may be slotted into groups out of order at the discretion of the captain due to commitments regarding the welfare of the club.

Members may be slotted out of order at the descretion of the captain if they have a valid reason for doing so.

Daily trophys shall be provided as follows

Size of field 

0-13          Open field

14-20       A Grade B Grade

21 +         A Grade B Grade C Grade

6 or more males can constitute a competition

4 or more women can constitute a competition

4 or more juniors can constiute a competition

Presentation of daily trophys shall take place in the club rooms at the discretion of the captain after the completion of the days competition.

During Multi week competitions ie: club championships no daily trophys are awarded
